Uv Germicidal Lamps have an extensive list of available applications for healthcare, government, aquatic/ food industries
and household air/water sanitization fixtures. UV Germicidal lighting fixtures are used for disinfecting air, water and surface mediums.
UV Germicidal Lighting utilises the short wavelength of UV that is harmful to forms of life at the micro-organic level. It is effective in destroying the nucleic acids in these organisms so that their DNA is disrupted by the UV radiation, which is a form of ionising radiation. This removes their reproductive capabilities and/or kills them.
By emitting 253.7nm ultraviolet light, the lamp kills 99.99% microorganisms including bacteria, virus and fungi directly in short time
